need some suggestions/advice?

Hi there, I'm new. I've just found out I'm pregnant with #2, so I've been thinking about names, but DH & I seem to be pretty stumped. If I put down some names I like could you make some suggestions that you think may suit my style?

Reuben
Casper or Caspar
Desmond

Eliza
Rosalind
Rosamond

I like names with character, a bit unusual but not unheard of. Don't like too trendy, like classic old fashioned names, but not ones that are used a lot like Mary, Elizabeth, Grace, etc.

So what do you think of these names i've come up with so far & can you suggest some more?

Reuben was on my list, and I love Casper. Other boy suggestions....

I don't mind Eliza and Reuben. My Nan's name is Elvie and that will be our name for a girl.

I love Iris & Esme, but I don't know if DH would go for them!! I should of said more about his naming style - though he doesn't make a lot of suggestions. He would say those names are too granny-ish.

Our daughter's name is Miranda if that helps.

Elvie is so cute, it reminds me a bit of Silvie, but it's sweeter. When I was a kid I had a book about an Elvira - that's what i wanted to name one of my babies when I was little, but DH spewed when I told him jokingly.

How about Eve, Eva, Ada, April or Ivy. We have an Ivy, but all of those names as well as Eliza were on our final list.

We also a have a Theodore and our final list for him included Edward and George. I really liked Guy, but my husband didn't like it at all...

Eliza is nice too!

You've picked two names starting with 'Rosa', I'm assuming that u like that name.. other names that start with Rosa that may interest you and are nice are:
Rosabelle (means beautiful Rose)
Rosannah
Rosalee
Rosalyne

Casper and Eliza are gorgeous!

Our shortlist for boys included Edward, Malachi and Elijah, all of which I still love.

Or how about Mackinley?

It was most popular back in the 1880's to 1910's I believe. Although some may say its a 'trendy' name (which isn't what you are looking for), we chose it for its Scottish background and because its an 'older' name not heard of alot these days. We didn't even realise it was becoming trendy when we chose it!

Sorry no suggestions for girls names just at present! Having a brain freeze! But I do really love Eliza!
