Mars Bar Slice
Ingredients
3 Mars Bars
90g butter
3 cups rice bubbles
200g melted chocolate (cooking or normal eating chocolate)
Method
Grease and line slice tin with baking paper
Melt Mars Bars with butter and mix with rice bubbles.
Pour mixture into tin.
Melt chocolate and pour over slice.
Let slice set in a cool place (or the fridge).
Remove slice from tin and cut into pieces.
Yummo!
The mars bars and butter go kinda funny for a bit, but keep stirring and when it looks kinda like smooth caramel, it's ready for the bubbles.

Easy Custard New York style slice
1 pack of sayo bisquits
1 pack fosters clark custard mix (yellow bag)(do not follow the pack instructions)
1 small cream (250ml i think?? the small tub anyway)
In a dish or plastic container approx 2 inches thick, line with baking paper, lay out half the sao bisquits. Beat custard mix only with cream on high speed till mixture quiet firm and thick. Spoon over sao bisquits. Lay remaining sao over the top, gently press down and leave in fridge to set.
When firm make icing according to your preferences (choc, vanilla or white) and ice , allow to set. To make it easier to cut smaller sizes use a hot knife to slice alternatively there is no need to cut as the bisquits form their own piece.

Yesterday when NSW had the teacher's strike, the kids and I made these:
White Chocolate crackles.
2 cups rice bubbles
1 cup desicated coconut
1 cup icing sugar, sifted
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup mini M&M's
1/2 white choc bits (I just chopped up some of the bloc into little pieces)
100 g white chocolate chopped
250 g copha (recipe said 200, but found it not enough)
Mix dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl.
Melt copha and choc together in pan over low heat (or microwave on medium), stir until well combined.
Pour choc mixture over dry ingredients, stir until well combined.
Spoon into patty cases, refrigerate until set.
Makes approx 30.
Be careful though, they are addictive.![]()

So easy to make! & pretty much should have the ingredients in the cupboard! - although u need to use a saucepan for the hedgehog! i'll tell u anyway cos its soo yummy!
Hedgehog
125g butter
1 Tablespoon of butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 tablspoons of coconut
1 pack of Marie biscuits - crushed
1 tablespoon of condensed milk
Melt butter, add cocoa & sugar & mix
Mix in egg, condensed milk, coconut & biscuits
Once mixed, press into a tin & put in fridge
Ice with chocolate icing, & dust with coconut
Chocolate Ripple cake
Ingredients 300ml cream
1 tsp caster sugar
Vanilla essence
1 pack Arnott’s Choc Ripple Biscuits
Crushed nuts, grated chocolate or seasonal berries to decorate Method Add sugar and a drop of vanilla essence to the cream and whip until very stiff.
Join biscuits together by standing a biscuit on its side and sandwich with the next biscuit using a generous spread of cream. Continue until all the biscuits have been used and resemble a log.
Cover the log thickly and entirely with the remaining cream. Place in refrigerator for at least 6 hours to set.
Before serving, decorate log with grated chocolate, if desired.
To serve, cut cake at a slight angle to ensure alternate layers of chocolate biscuit and cream are in each slice. Serve with seasonal berries, if desired.
