Are you creative in the kitchen?????

So fairly self explanatory.... are you creative in the kitchen???? Or do you have a few trusty faithfuls that you stick to????

I love love love to cook, and love to spice it up a little....

Recently I did a roast chook with a marmalade glaze and a divine stuffing with dried fruit, pine nuts and cardamom.....

At the moment I can smell sweet potato, red onion, bacon, macadamias and fetta roasting in honey and garlic..... to be served on a bed of brown rice with a creamy honey mustard dressing..... mmmmm.....

It makes me giggle when I get comments about how "fancy" I cook..... I just love my food and have always loved to give it a little flair.....

So are you a creative cook.... and what little tricks are you willing to share????

I try to be adventurous but sometimes I get stuck in the old faithful rut. dh is often creative though

i love to cook, and am adventurous with cooking, but am in no way creative.

i like to try out different recipes that i find, and i spend ALOT of time online and in magazines etc sifting through recipes for things i want to try.

but i have no idea how to just throw something together or what i have in my pantry that would just 'go' together and make something fabulous.

i'm kick a$$ at following a recipe though hahaha

I love being creative in the kitchen, i think hmm whats for tea and throw together something. Beef Kievs is a big hit lately (we dont eat chicken lol)

I am really good at cooking meals but pretty horrible at sweets except for bisquiits lol so tend to give my main meals 100% and keep the sweets boring and simple!
