Default Anyones baby start to crawl at 5 months??

    HI Ladies

My DD is going on 5 months on the 16th and shes starting to crawl?? ... is that normal or is she advanced?? its only really started this week where i put an object she wants a little while in front of her and she gets up on her knees and pushes but her arms get caught n she falls over but then she gets back up and trys again,

Also is sitting at this age normal? She cant pull herself into a sitting position or anything its when i put her on her bum she sits there for ages with her hands holding her up..

DD was fully crawling, very fast by 5 1/2 months. Once they are crawling they just don't seem like babies anymore!!!

my dd crawled at 5 months

people are always shocked when i tell them she's been crawling for 4 months though, so maybe she is advanced?

they seem so much older when they learn how to move around themselves..

my very cheeky dd was comando crawling by 3 months and fully crawling by 3.5 months. the she was standing and cruizing furniture at 4 months and walking unaided by 8 months. its kinda scarey when you have an 8 month old toddler. i so hope my ds is a little slower and remains my baby for a bit longer.

My DS was doing the caterpillar crawl at just under 5 months and fully crawling at just under 6 months.

He was sitting up the same as your DD at 4.5 months and pulling himself up to sitting position on the same day as he started fully crawling.

Cobey was crawling at 5 months.. I went to have a shower, came back and he was on the other side of the room eating a rego bill (GO COBES!) he crawled-to-sit a couple of weeks later but climbed the day he started crawling and he.hasn't.stopped.

DD2 was rolling at 3 months, crawling by 6 months and walking at 10 months but I think back now and it was all to fast she grew up to quick and no longer seemed to be a baby iykwim.

My DD1 seemed to cruise along to the norm, roll 5 months, crawl 9ish months, walked 12 months.

I want DD3 to take as long as she likes and stay my baby girl for a little while .
