Cast iron bladder

I dont know if anyone can help as from reading all the other entries I couldnt find anyone with a similar prob....

Our 2 1/2 yo dd has been using the potty very randomly for the past 6 months and we have never pushed the issue as we had another baby and didnt want it to become an issue - however as her Daycare had told me she had been doing wee there we decided to give it a go - using M&M's as bribery and for a couple of days I thought she going great until I figured she was just holding off until I put a nappy on for her arvo sleep - then she would fill it - wee & poo & call out to be changed, would then wake back in pants and wait until bath/bed time to either wee in the bath or in her night nappy! (sorry this is a saga), so decided to not put a day sleep nappy on and she went 12 hours - 7am-7pm without doing anything! No wet pants nothing - but running about absolutely busting. When I sit her on the potty she will sit for half an hour not doing anything, almost like she is too scared to let it go. I have tried bribery, sweet talking, yelling, distraction everything!

Has anyone had any similar probs?? Or got any other suggestions??

Could you put a nappy in the potty so she is almost sitting in it and then she might be more relaxed?
