A friend of mine had a ducky theme baby shower a couple of months back. They put rubber ducks along the tables and had bowls of blue jelly to resemble water etc. There invitations were little cutout ducks and each guest took home a cake of soap with a miniture rubber duckie on top wrapped in celephone lol. It was quite cute.

You could always just choose a neutral colour in different shades to decorate. Or go for a farm/zoo animals theme?? & have little cookies cut into animals etc?

I just had purple, blue, green and orange as my theme, as these are the colours of DD's walls
We had all the decos in those colours.

I have just had my baby shower which was organised by my wonderful sister. I don't know the sex of my baby either, so Beatrix Potter (Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck, etc) was the most adorable theme.

The invitations went out on Beatrix Potter postcards, the food was all themed and labelled (ie, raw vegetables and dip was labelled "Mr McGregor's Garden" and friands were "Flopsy and Mopsy's Raspberry Friands", there was even camomile tea!).

The games were "Pass the Lettuce" which was basically Pass the Parcel wrapped in lettuce-green tissue paper and each layer had a Beatrix Potter story theme with hilarious questions which everyone really got into. Take-home presents for everyone were little Beatrix Potter tins filled with goodies. Of course, there were non-themed goings-on such as Baby Pictionary and Guess How Big the Tummy Is, etc, but the English cottage garden theme was really adorable and my sister's attention to detail received a lot of praise from my friends.

To the beautiful Itty Bitty... Thank you for such a wonderful baby shower.

Jes decided on a Polkadot theme, since I dont know what Im having.

She made everything Red, Black, and White, my favorite colours, and a huge nappy cake (So amazing) with Polkadot ribbon on it, she had cards for the guests to write a message to BaBee in, and fantastic games!

    It was great fun!
