Default I am so glad I donated.

I recently found out that friends of mine have twins that are very sick.

I used to work with this couple and in November 2006 they were blessed with twin boys. Just before Christmas one of the boys was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia and not long after that the discovered that the other twin also had the same type of leukaemia. What were the chances of both of them having the same horrible disease?

Both of the boys have just been through chemo and are having bone marrow transplants within the coming weeks.

I wasn’t going to donate DD’s cord blood but changed my mind. The blood that was donated could someday save some child’s life.

When you hear personal stories like thing, especially when you know the people involved it really does make you think.
Doing housework with young children must be like clearing snow in a blizzard!!!

I donated DS1's too, so it is good to think that it could be used to save another's life! Couldn't with DS2 as they were closed (had him at 11pm and they were shut for that week anyway for some reason)
Got my form back on Thursday to say that they had received my form to say i would like to donate it again for this baby. I think it is a great thing!
