    Default Foods to avoid?

Ok so this is all new to me. MJ never reacted to any foods I ate whilst feeding her. BUT i've noticed that some days Anakin is very windy, chucky etc. The last time I noticed it, I had eaten a stir-fry the night before which was garlic, soy sauce, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, carrot....I think that was it. I think it may be any of the above that caused him to be like it.

So what foods are best avoided or even better, if I do eat things that make him windy, can I eat anything to stop the aftermath?

    Thanks

I think it's just a matter of cancelling out foods that you eat that he seems to get windy afterwards. Some babies react to different things.

My baby always used to pop a lot when I would eat chocolate.

I think peanuts are a no no?? Maybe??

I hear you on the garlic! - I do know Aurora reacted very badly to broccoli - (I honestly thought she was going to die, I had never ever heard her cry so much and then finally after a bath she let off a huge windy!) and Onion she reacts to if I eat it raw in salad or sangas..

I ended up having to eliminate everything but the less allergenic foods from my diet.

For three weeks all I ate was:

    lamb
    turkey
    white rice
    pear
    pumpkin
    sweet potato
    minimal olive oil
    salt

    That's it.

I slowly reintroduced foods to pinpoint the things that set him off and they were chilli, garlic, onion, dairy, too much fat, any windy veg like cauliflower and cabbage etc, chocolate, eggs, anything carbonated, too much sugar, citrus, almonds, peanuts, tomato, coffee.

But anyway, go for the obvious ones first - windy veg, chocolate and tomato - and take them out of your diet. Have a bland day and then intro just one of those foods. You should see a reaction within 12 hours.

I avoided the following foods while breastfeeding after it caused a reaction of either wind or a full-body rash:
    Cabbage
    Broccoli
    Cauliflower
    Peanuts
    Tomato

Had no problems with onion which is good because I always put cooked onion in scrambled eggs and was eating scrambled eggs regularly to regain weight and keep healthy. Can't eat them without onions.

PS She still can't eat tomato without it giving her a rash on her mouth and anywhere else it touches, and making her wee sting. She also hasn't had peanuts yet or anything with nuts in it.

Hmm food for thought. I don't think chocolate, tomato or peanuts are doing it. We eat them all the time

Will cut out the broccoli for a few days, have it again & see what happens

We never had any issues until the other day I have started drinking those Up N Go drinks in the morning because quite often I forget to have breaky which is not good and he has been a bit farty lately then yesterday he actually drank some of it as I left a half empty one on the coffee table and he was farting all day and did the gnarliest poo.

So I am thinkin I will have to stop drinking those there must be something in it that doesn't agree with him, no idea what though.

Good Luck I hope you can figure out what it is.
