Default Induction when I have the flu?

    Hey everyone

Well, I'm being induced next week (probably Monday or Tuesday), but today I'm developing a nasty cold (from my hubby and he's had it for 2 weeks).

Was wondering if anyone's been in the same position and whether it changed whether or not they induced you or made it earlier or later or whatever. The induction is because I have Gestational Diabetes which I'm on insulin for and my blood sugars have been eratic.

Yep i had the flu when i was due to have my first bub. They induced me and it was all fine. I don't think that they will put it off due to you having the flu.
Before i was induced i was really worried because i did'nt know how i would cope going through labour while i could'nt breathe properly and felt like absolute cr@p. All was fine though, I was too busy focusing on having bub that being sick did'nt bother me at all.

    Good luck with your induction!!!!!

I was induced 3 weeks early due to complications with pre-eclamspia, I also had GD requiring insulin and at the time they induced me I was so unwell with pnuemonia .

I hope you are well before your induction, its so much harder when your sick.

Wish you all the best Goodluck
