I'm new to bottle feeding, i've just weaned DD after 9 months. I was just wondering whether you need to heat the water for the milk.
A mother in my mother's group told me it was pointless, as they need to get used to drinking room temp milk, in case you're out and can't heat up the bottle.
I always assumed you'd heat up the water, so it was similar to breastmilk... and that's what I have been doing..
Should I start giving the milk to her room temp?
What do others do?
Thanks![]()

Omigoodness!! I have always heated my DS1 & DS2 bottles, now after reading all your replies, I'm going to try just giving it at room temp - that would be MUCH easier when out!!!
