how popular a certain name is in ur state/country? can u look up & see how many other kids born in the same year as ur bub have the same name? thanks

u can go to the births, deaths and marriages websites (or equivalent) for each state

some websites give you the names popularity in the USA, i think its called baby name wizard, there are more if you go searching thru google.

I tried some births deaths & marriages but they only have a top 100(cant even find QLDS), the one I saw ages ago u could actually type in the name & it would say how many of that name were registered each year.

SA has one where u type in a name, and it tells you how many, not sure about australia wide tho. sorry.

sorry LOL I want 2 keep it quiet cos it seems every time someone in my family uses a unique name there is an explosion of that name the following year.
