Talking Foods to beef up mummy when BF

I dont even know if this is the right place but how can i beef up a little?

I am generally small built but at the moment i look skanky as i have lost so much weight from BF sorry skanky is the only word i can think of to use Whenever i BF the weight drops off me, when i stop i sit on a healthy looking level, i eat well, i dont over exercise, i walk once a day for 20 minutes run around after the kids etc but its walking with a baby and 2 toddlers so its not like i am burning any fat or anything. My height to weight ratio is normal but visually it doesnt look normal!

I eat 5 small meals a day, just to keep the energy up, i am healthy, i feel healthy but i cannot put the weight on, i dont really watch what i eat but we have a pretty healthy household and i am not really a sweet tooth, only when hormonal . There is nothing wrong medically with me i just cant stop this drawn look, if thats how you put it .

What foods are good for building up a little?

Oh maybe i should add the only thing wrong is my iron levels are really low, i cant store it that well but i am taking suppliments and its getting better but my irons always low

Oh my DH is trying to bulk up at the moment.. He always tells me that protein is good as well as carbs. He has protein shakes and has a carb one as well. Ew.

Anyway, I am sure you don't want to resort to that, but I think having lots of carbs would help to get the weight back on

    Sorry, not very helpful haha

Listen to me so that I don't repress these feelings and turn bitter when I get older. Please don't distract me. I need to deal with these feelings. Offer me hugs and support. Stay with me when I cry. pb, i know exactly how you feel! I have the same problem.
DP goes to the gym, so has protein shakes. I couldn't have them at first due to DS's possible dairy intolerance/reflux. But i've just started having some again now.
The ones i have tried are actually very nice. So might be worth looking into that.

I would so love to be a size 8-10!!!!

Actually, the one he has doesn't smell too bad. It's called "Rich Chocolate" or something. I just couldn't stand the thickness of it! I have never tried it haha. He used to be like a stick! And is nice and buff now (after a year!)
