    Default Medications vs Progesterone

    Hi there,

I have been getting ready for a frozen FET this month and had an ultrasound, only to be told that i have too much progesterone where i shouldn't have any in my body. Could you please tell me if some medications can raise the progesterone level. (epilepsy meds and depression meds).

Many thanks in advance for any help, Leese

    Default Meds and hormones

    Dear Leese
Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear that your plans are temporarily on hold.
You will need to discuss the interaction and effects of any meds you might be taking with your dr. There are always side effects from any medication however they differ from person to person and depend on what type of medication you are on. Make sure that your ob/gyn knows about any meds you are on too.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, an expert medical opinion (rather than a psychological one) from someone who knows your history etc will be much more helpful to you.
    best wishes
    Shari
