Baby Girl Christening Theme Ideas - Help!

Hi,

I'm in the process of trying to organise my baby girls christening and her godmother has asked me what theme i am having.

I hadn't even thought about it, but now she's mentioned it i thought it would be nice to have some theme to tie it all together.

But i'm having a hard time coming up with ideas.

I thought of butterflies maybe, but thought that was maybe too common for little girls.

Anyone have any ideas...... something cute and pretty......

But girls.... the only thing i can think of is butterflies....

Butterflies are common, but won't go "out" either. I also like frangipanis or other flowers, or ladybugs. I didn't have a theme for my girl's Christening.

Ladybugs sounds really cute...... i'll start looking around

If i can't find much stuff with ladybugs i'll stick with the butterflies.

I've never heard of having a theme for a christening....But i think butterflies would be nice if your going ahead with one.

stars & moons is going to be my baby shower and naming day themes - for girl
- but you could also do teddy bears, roses, fairies, baby animals, cupcakes, frogs, building blocks, color themes (pink), love hearts, glitter, tulips (any flower you like), ducklings, rubber ducks, birds (think cute little blue wrens or doves), princesses, baby girls are special type theme (heaps of quotes and pictures on web), noahs ark, baby jesus, ladybugs, candles or rainbows

ive never seen a themed christening either, sounds sweet
