I believe Ceramic ones are best... but I don't know from experience.
My sister lives for her hair straightener.. if I remember I'll ask her tonight when I speak to her

    Hi Im a hairdresser.
Yes GHDs are the best. They are around the $300 mark though but well worth the investment as they dont damage the hair like other straightners do.
Theres another out on the market called T3 which are on par according to DH (hes a hairdresser too) but I personally prefer the GHD.

They have a promo running at the moment where you can have a free two day trial.

GHD is the best. If you can't afford that one (as they are around $250-$300) the next best thing is the Muster Ceramic.

I work in the hairdressing industry for a product import company and GHD are the best by far.
But remember not to use a straightener of any type everyday otherwise your hair will dry out.

Also don't drop your ghd as they will break, I have personal experience of this and its not a pretty sight. Was like there was a death in the family

I've got an old Muster (from before the ceramic ones were released) it works wonders, so I would assume the new Muster ceramic ones would be great aswell.

If you have really curly hair I wouldn't buy a remington, my hairs wavy and my sisters and mums is curly and the one I used to have did absolutely nothing.

If you are willing to spend the money I'd get a GHD or Muster.

I got the Vidal Sasson Wet to Dry Ceramic Straightener....it has an extra BOOST button that makes it 190c.

It was only about $80 and its really good.

HOWEVER I never use it as a wet to straight. I figure my hair dresser doesnt even use his GHD on my hair when its wet...so it cant be all that good for it. I wash my hair the night before, and then straighten it in the morning.

Goodluck....make sure you get Ceramic whatever you get though! The metal ones pull on your hair and tend to give you split ends!

I have a GHD, works miricles. My friend has a Remington, I think she paid about $50 for it, I tried it and thought it was just as good as the GHD.
