    It's noice, it's different, it's un-ewe-sual....
    No seriously, it is pretty, and if it suits your little girl then you should definately use it! Is it a name from Greek mythology or something ? (It rings a bell for me, but I can't think where I've heard it before)

    The girl's name Ione is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "violet." Flower name.

    I think it's a beautiful name...The only other girl that I know(I don't know her personally) who has that name is Ione Skye(actress)...

    I saw that name in a Traci Harding book...The Ancient Future, I think. Fantastic name!

    I think its a sweet name, a variation of it, Iona (eye -ow- na), was the name of a friend I met at uni. My only reservation about it, is what middle name will go with it?
