Let him play his silly games. Is he on his own? Just asking because my FIL is and he acts the same way sometimes. I got him at his own game one day, rang him and he said "I don't know if I will be here" So I said "That's ok" you ring me and let me know when you will be home and we try our best to get there. He thought he would leave it for a day or two then he rang and said "you didn't come to visit" I said "why would I drive 60km when you are not sure if you will be home" He got the message. Hasn't happened again. Try it and see if it works for you. Otherwise, just ask him if he has a problem with people visiting him. Never know. Hope this helps.

    hi kristy,

oh you poor woman, my ex,s mother was like that she would lie to her sons face in front of me just so he would believe her she was poison and still is i dont have much to do with her any more but as the kids are getting older they are slowly not wanting to see her because of the horrible things she says and does, i just keep quite i dont bag her out in front of them, but i know one thing for sure to be a good liar you have to have a good memory so eventually your mil will slip up and im sure your partner sences whats going on! stay strong kristy for ryan and hubby and new bubby and i will tend to this grumpy fil.

    cheers.
