My best baby-brain moment was forgetting the name of a woman I sat opposite at work - the thing is we have the same name.

Him (39) Me (42)
DS (Jun 2007) DD (Dec 2010)
I agree!!. A few weeks ago I forgot to make the mortgage payment! Our biggest bill and I forgot to make it.
I just do stupid things, like I was looking for DDs dummy, while holding her. I searched for half'n'hour, till I realise it was attached to her the whole time.
Two weeks ago I bathed DD an hour late, even when I looked at the time. It just didn't register.
Anyone else have similiar stories.
Yep...I could have told them that!![]()

Brilliant article. What we've always known to be true.
Excellent baby brain moment![]()
Mine was in the middle of an explanation I was giving a class full of year 9s (at a girls school). I said "girls and if you're going to take the um...ummmm. What's it called" pause "um". "Girls what's the opposite of 'literal'?" Couldn't find the word for the life of me, they just said "dunno miss, you're the English teacher!".It took me half an hour of racking my brain to finally produce "figerative".
And I was always going to the shops and forgetting what I went there for.
I left my keys in the medicine cabinet once, still have no clue as to how they got there.![]()

"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
I think 3 pregnancies on top of each other has made my brain!! Everyone knows what I am like
I forget appointments, where my keys, mobile and purse are. I am sick of forgetting to pay the $20 toll zone and then having a $100.00 fine I think thats has happened about 10 times in the last year, I am not joking.
Disclaimer: My posts are my opinions!! Not yours MINE. I know the truth as it happened to my family and I know my rights. That is all
What I want to know is, when does our normal brain come back?
I was asked by a midwife if I had received my 28 weeks Anti-D shot and I couldn't remember if I had or not - at this point I was 30 weeks along, so it wasn't in the too-distant past(I had got the shot apparently)
One son and one on the way
lol we have proof!
It's a lifetime syndrome... I've forgotten so much this week and stuff I was actually looking forward to?!
Or the other night at my sisters..
Sister: When are you going to put DD to bed?
Me: dunno, seems a bit early
Sister: It's a 11.30 at night ... the late news is on!! (pointing to TV)
Me: oh ... guess it's bed time then![]()
