    Default Advice on Nanny Services

    Hi!
We have an unexpected 'hole' in our childcare arrangements due to my having to do a full week at work instead of the usual 3 days, which unfortunately also coincides with my husband having to be away for work for a week(everything happens at once!).

My biggest problem is that I start work at 6am, which is normally great because I am home by 3pm for collecting the kids from school. We have 4 kids, 3 school-aged children and a 3 year old.

However, Before School Care doesn't 'open' until 7am and I need to leave home by 5.30am, and there is one day when we need all-day care for our 3 year old as we just can't get a day-care place on a Wednesday anywhere vaguely local.

We specifically want to use an agency because they look after all the paperwork and superannuation etc, and also they are registered with the Child Care Benefit Scheme, so we don't want to just use a service like 'findababysitter' where the out of pocket costs end up higher.

I'd heard great things about Charlton Browne, but they have failed to respond to our query, so I'm losing confidence in them.

Does anyone have any experience with the Care for Kidz Agency - they sound reputable but I'd never heard of them before.

(We are in the outer western suburbs of Brisbane).

OK - scrap all that. Just found out that Care for Kidz is not registered for the Child Care Benefit Scheme - so I'm back to badgering Charlton Brown Nannies.

    Thank you anyway!

Personally I wouldn't touch Charlton Brown with a ten foot pole but that's just my personal experience.

Tinies have been fantastic with all my needs and on the note of tax and super etc as long as the nanny has an ABN (which most do) they can run as a sole trader and hence do all their own super and tax etc. PM me if you want any more info.

    Good luck
