Default Make sure you chew your food!!!

I was having an early dinner last night at 5.30pm with DS. I was eating away and then I had this pain in my chest, a piece of steak was stuck. I was trying to cough it up, wasn’t helping, I was trying to drink water but nothing was going past this bit of meat. So I am standing there over the sink trying to get this thing up, I kept spitting and throwing up saliva. At 8.30pm I had had enough and asked DP to call the nurse on call, she just said to go to emergency.

I just needed to throw up.

We arrived at emergency at 9.30pm, and the nurse said to drink half a can of coke and if that didn’t work to go back and see her. It didn’t work but I didn’t want to wait 2 hrs in emergency, so we left and came home. I sent DP out at around 12.30pm to get me a second can of coke (tasted disgusting, I never drink coke) At 1.30am this morning I had thrown most of the meat up and the left over had gone down, I could finally have a drink of water and go to bed. It only took 8 hrs
