Default panic attacks on progress of pregnancy ...

Hi mums of multiples I am now 18 weeks pregnant with twins and look smaller than most women pregnant with singletons. I also have none of the symptoms of pregnancy mentioned in the books like constipation, tiredness, aches and pains, hearty appetite etc. I feel totally normal, like I'm not pregnant. I am now worried it means something is wrong. Especially as the twin books so you will be really big and have the normal symptoms a lot worse. Should I check with a dr or midwife that everything is ok? I have a scan due next Monday (or I can wait another 2 weeks and have one bulk billed instead). I'm wondering whether to get the scan done on Monday and just try to remember everyone is different. Was anyone else fairly small or normal size during their early pregnancy??

    Hi

I am 32 weeks pregnant with twins and I was quite small until I hit about 24 weeks and even now people say where are you hiding the babies although I feel like I am huge now.

I had no morning sickness or other symptoms early on in pregnancy as not everyone gets as sick as others during pregnancy. I like you felt normal throughout the early stages of this pregnancy and must say it has only been since I have hit 30 weeks that I really feel pregnant.

It is up to you whether you ring your DR and get things checked out but if you have a scan on Monday then that is not far away really. But if you are feeling that anxious about it then for your piece of mind it might help to give them a call.

I like you was anxious and nervous because I had barely any symptoms so everyone is different and I am sure other ladies will come on here and say the same thing.

    Take care

When i was pregnant with my twins i didnt feel pregnant either got no morning sickness and no other symptoms throughout the pregnany which allowed me to work right up to 37wks. I wasnt very big either even at the end @ 38wks no one could believe i had 2 bubbas inside my tummy.

Thanks guys, that is so reassuring! I never realised I would get so anxious over everything. Even things I *know* are irrational. I will just cross my fingers until Monday. Thanks again
