    Default What the?!?!

Julius is 5 months and 10 days old and he is already pulling himself up on stuff into a standing position. Now He thinks it is funny to let go and stand up by himself.

He stood for 2 seconds by himself...Is that normal?

There is a lady in our July thread who has a bubba that fully pulls herself up and stands for long periods of time!! My li'l lady is nowhere near that yet and she is only 5days older than your bub!! I think your going to have a bubba on the move!!
Disclaimer: My posts are my opinions!! Not yours MINE. I know the truth as it happened to my family and I know my rights. That is all

My niece was walking by 8 months and seems fine. Just be aware that an article has been released from Britain where they have had to take children back to crawling if they walk too quickly as it causes problems in their growth. I don't know where the research was written up about is but it is was in The Australian or New Scientist and I can't remember the exact reason why it was a problem if they walked too early.

    Each child is different.

    It scared me for life

I was cleaning my room last night, he was crawling around putting objects in his mouth and hitting them on stuff.I turned around put his blanket in the draw. And turned around and in about 3 seconds he had pulled himself up using a washing basket.I was in shock, I just screamed OH MY GOD.And grabbed him, the next day he did it again but let go, and stood.

He has been doing it more and more but he lets go before he can balance properly and falls, so we have to grab him.

Haha, I was just about to say then that Kaid was doing it around that age..

He is just a strong boy! Watch out though they start to get lots of bruises soon. Kaid always thinks he can walk and tries and... crash!

LOL what a little champ!!! Lookout, he'll be walking before he's on solids!!!
My boy went from that, to tipping over the washing basket and using it to climb onto the coffee table, in a manner of weeks And was running around within another few weeks. I personally think it's the ultra-intelligent ones who are advanced like this
