    Default Citilink Melbourne - how to pay tolls??

    Hi all. We have not long moved nearer to Melbourne and today we ventured into the big smokeWe ended up lostand took the Citilink on the way back. Now its a toll road so how do we pay our tolls? Do they click ya and send you a bill or something

    You will get fined if you don't ring them within 24 hours of using the tolls.

    It is a $100 fine.

    I think you can ring up and pay it with 24 hours or something, otherwise you get a bigger bill (its a bit like the mornng after pill!!)

    I live in Melbourne but always avoid going on it - dont need an e tag as we know how to avoid using it.

    Sorry I don't know who to ring though

    go to a shell servo and buy a all day pass they are like $8 or something, then just ring them for peace of mind and say you bought one as soon as you got it, remember to keep them in a safe place so if ever you get an account or bill you have it as proof

    The $100 fine has been abolished (I had a few of those!) and you now get sent an invoice for the cost of the toll plus admin costs. It's about $19. Still more than paying the toll but not so painful!
