Veve- The chance of uterine rupture with a VBAC is very low.

Haven't read the study you have posted cantwait but I will now.

I felt so sorry for that baby in the clip being handled that way.

Well interesting video, 1 in 13,000 CS'c, as oppose to 1 in 30,000 VB's. That is scary. That has made me even more NEVER EVER want a c-section.

Thanks for posting that. I think it is something that had always been known, but this study just confirms. It's interesting that after 3 c/sections the risk increases to one in 220. That's huge!

when i had my last c/section ( i have had 3)i was asked by the OB if i wanted him to do a clip of the tubes whilst he was in there. He was thinking it was going to be my last baby (maybe who knows) i said NO i am only 30 its too young to be clipped who knows what may happen and if i decide to have more kids then it wont be possible...................but they do say with the more you have the chances are greater even with blood loss and people needing transfusions

i agree with one blessing about the baby's handling it makes me think omg did my 3 have that done???

My baby wasn't he was handled with care straight into my arms... anyways I wasn't saying it in a 'is that how they handle CS babies' kind of way, even if it was a VB and they handled the baby like that i would have said that same thing.

Don't worry i know what ya mean ! I remember when Jaxon was born the nurses handled him like a rubber chicken and i was stressing! Even DP said that they were a bit rough. Luckily he never cried otherwise i think they may have had a mouth full! With Cooper i was quite happy that they didn't handle him often

    I know that .. I've looked .. I've read a gazzillion (sp?) threads ..

but for me .. that teeny tiny risk/? still FREAKING risky ..

I will wait to see what this baby brings .. but Jack did everything wrong .. and my body didn't help ..

I cant help but think .. it doesn't matter WHAT happens .. birth is risky ..

(how many of the c-sections in the study were repeat c-sections.. and how many were first ones/?? )

    xx
