    Cool Recycle your Christmas Cards

I was wondering what I could do with my Christmas Cards, instead of just putting them in the Recycle bin.

Anyway, I found this. It's Cards 4 Planet Ark. http://www.planetark.com/campaignspa...d/11/story.htm

Basically, you take them to Australia Post where you put them in an envelope made from recycled paper. It can hold up to 60 cards (if you're that popular ). They make them into recycled paper products.

Sometimes, even though I recycle religiously, and try to do it correctly and take the lids off bottles etc, I just really wonder if it all DOES get recycled???

I don't get that planet ark thing, why make another envelope when we could recycle cards with the rest of our paper/cardboard?

You could re-use them yourself by cutting off the back flap and writing behind the front design.

ahh just saw your comment about wondering if it does actually get recycled...i guess you could have the same worry about planet ark as well though...
