Hi I'm new, my names Bec.
I've just recently found out that I'm pregnant to my boyfriend. I have just turned 21 and he is turning 21 in Jan. My boyfriend took the news pretty well and has decided to support me in whatever we both decide is the the right decission for us.
We would love to go through with the pregnancy but the problem is that we are not financially stable right now. I am currently looking for fulltime work as I'm working part time and he also is working part-time and is about to year 12 again ( he dropped out a couple of years ago and had decided to get his VCE after all). We don't really want to go on centerlink but we feel we will obviously have to, but were scared that that may not even be enough money to raise a child for the first few years until he finishes uni after year 12 ( 3 year from now) and is able to start his career.
Ofcorse there is other options such as termination and adoption. I do not want to give my baby up for adoption nor do I want to have to terminate either.
We both really want to be able to raise this baby together but are just fearful that financially we will not be able to cope.
Any adivce on this mater would be great as I'm already 6 weeks into the pregnancy and I need to make up my mind with what I'm choosing to do asap. My mum and sister know about it had have given adive and so has a couple of close friends but I'm just needing some adivce from more of an objective point of view.
Thanks for reading this,
