Has anyone had this happen to Hautes?

My Hautes are now 6 months old and make up the majority of my stash (I have 13)...

The legs have become so loose/stretched that they gape permanently, and now almost every time he poos it leaks...this morning he had pooed before I got in to get him up and it was EVERYWHERE

In his hair, on his face, all over the cot and his toys...

I am very disappointed as the bumGenius are just as old and yet the elastic is as tight as the day I got them! I am scared to even put a Haute on him now but I have so many and can't afford to replace them all!

I have a haute that is doing exactly the same thing.

I'm going to have a go at fixing it myself.

I wont be buying anymore though.

No sorry, do you tumble dry them often and how are you hanging them on the line?

Hasnt happened to any of mine, i have 9. But recently it has happened to 3 of my BG nappies, not impressed. But it has given me an excuse to buy some even cuter nappies! hehe Im addicted to iish fly nappies

ETA: My BG & Hautes were bought at the same time too, and i don't tumble dry or dry pail for long either!

I don't even own a tumble dryer.

I hang them on the line same as I hang the bumGenius, doubled over so the elastic is not stretched.

I am about to buy some Hautes, but from what I have read, the company revamped their design and have changed it a bit. Also, they have been bought by Darlings downunder. You might be able to email her and ask her if she has had any issues with the new lots. Could be why they are deteriorating.

I did email Tania but haven't heard back yet. She is really really nice so no doubt will be concerned to make sure this doesn't happen with the new ones!
