I can't offer much advice but with your gym membership...I know at my gym you can transfer your membership over to a family member. If you explain your situation they might let a friend take over your membership if that's possible or find out how much it would cost to end the contract.

I hope you get it figured out.....and you won't have to wean. You could do ff while you were at work and then breastfeed when you are with him. Your body will adjust if it needs to.

You could always move to Newcy and get your sister to be your nanny! Then he wouldn't be with a stranger (long shot I know but we'd happily have you down here!)

Theres some reasonable priced places out at Palm Beach around the $200 mark...
Dont forget you also can use your yearly interest free loan from centrelink...
However I think renting for the first time can be tough to get someone to give you a break

What if you ring centrelink i know they have social workers that might be able to sort out accomodation for you. I know through the the department of housing you can get bond loans and rental grants to get yo u started.
Do you have furniture and stuff?

You are doing the BEST YOU CAN with what you have! He deserves to have a Mum who LOVES him and would do anyting for him...and you know what HE DOES. You are doing what you feel is right for you and your son.Do not beat yourself up, think of the upside. More money, better house to live..etc Yes there are down sides, but there is to everything.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this post. I have never read such a positive review of child care
You know what, I deserve better. I will stand up and out of your shadow, I will feel the wind in my wings, I will learn to fly, you can stay and enjoy my freedom or leave, either way I was born to fly.

A friend of mine is a single mummy to 2 boys,.and lives in Robina,. she pays $275 for a 2bedroom townhouse with a garage in a gated community with a pool...both her kids go to daycare (at Varsity Lakes) - the eldest goes 4days a week and the little one goes 3days,.... she doesn't work! She gets by on her payments and the tiny amount of child support her ex gives her,.. it is tight,..but she manages,... you can do it!!!!!!!
