Default Won't take bottle from others

Hi, I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem....my son who is 4 months old and been on bottle for a few weeks now will not feed properly if someone else trys to feed him his bottle. He is happy to take it from me but even his Dad can't get him to enjoy feeding from him....usually only a small amount and then he cries until I give him the rest and he's happy. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas or tips to help him enjoy from others?

    Thanks heaps.

Default Wont take bottle from others

My bub is nearly 4 months and he will take bottle from others however he is showing signs at the moment of preference to me. He will finish the entire bottle when I feed him but not when others feed him. I am not sure why as he hasnt always been like this.

I must admit though, i am happy at this as I am his Mum and I use feeding time to bond with my baby boy and I figure if I was breastfeeding as I had planned I would be the one feeding all the time anyway.

I understand though this must be hard if you need a break so I hope this does change and someone can give you better advice than what i have here!

    Good Luck!

Just want to thank you for your replies, you may not think you helped me at all, but you all did....I have been getting his Dad to try feeding him more...we will just keep at it until he gets used to him. I wanted his Dad to be able to enjoy the feeling you get when feeding bubby as I do that's all, even if I am home and able to do it myself. He will get used to it I am sure, it is nice that he prefers Mummy though, makes me feel special Thanks again.

Yep take it & run with it !
Bubs went through this stage also & i found it so tiring but now that he has a preference to Daddy & wanting to be with him all the time i wish i could have those days back !
He will get used to others its just a stage but as i said go with it & enjoy
