Unhappy Chester (my cat) has been missing since Monday Night...

At the moment, Chester is living with my mother. The place here is just not friendly for him - there's an overgrown backyard out the back (we're in a house that's been split into two... and it's the other sides job to look after the backyard... they get to use it, we don't).

Anyway, there were ticks out there... and he even gave our daughter a tick... so I thought it was better if I de-ticked him then sent him to live with my mother until we move somewhere else.

Anyway, Mum told me she hasn't seen him since Monday night.

He's a cat, so I know it's natural for cats to wander... however, it's not natural for HIM to wander. He's such a lazy, sooky little homebody. He'll sometimes wander into neighbours gardens... and have a look around... but he ventures no further. He prefers to spend him time sleeping inside and meowing for more food (he's a pig).

I'm scared he's dead. He's about 5 1/2 so he's not old at all... I don't want him to be dead.

I hope he comes home, but I'm not counting on it... this is just SO out of character for him.

Aw sorry to hear that. Our little tyke wouldn't come in last night, I was doing that 'shaking the wiskers/calling out loudly like a dingbat at 10.30 last night.

    Hope Chester comes home.

Poor Chester. He's probably found himself a pretty little feline friend and is shacking up with her for a few days!

I hope he comes home soon!

how long has he been at your mothers house? maybe he has gone on a wander to try and get back to your house- and who knows he may evem rock up on your doorstep sometime soon- ive heard of cats and dogs traveling really far to get to an old place, its weird but somehow they know the way
have you checked the local pound also? Maybe somebody picked him up. Put up some flyers if your really worried. Let us know how it goes

    Thanks guys.

    He's still missing.

He's lived at Mums before...he's lived there the majority of his life (with me) and only spent about 2 months here.

I've gone on holidays before and left him there (for 3 weeks straight) and he's been fine. He's only been there for a short time... about 2 or 3 weeks.

I hope he hasn't decided to wander home... we're about 40 mins drive from Mums place (in good traffic!).

I hope that he comes home or goes back to your mums, cats are funny like that though they do go walk about and they are quiet resilant, fingers crossed he is ok though

have you checked the neighbourhood and the pound keep ringing them or put a few signs up maybe someones looking after him
