Did anyone see the news tonight of the australian netballer who won the right to breastfeed her child in between games while attending the commonwealth games. They said she can breastfeed in the athletes village during the day but the baby can't stay overnight which is fair enough.
I don't know why they had a problem with her breastfeeding.

and the team doctor was concerned about it
pathetic, i say. And that she'd previously told the coach that she would be giving up breastfeeding before the games. OMG so now you can't change your mind???!!?? I actually sent the girl (Janine Illitch isn't it?) a hero message about this issue. I didn't see the news, I'm glad she has "won" the argument. Although there must be a law against preventing her from doing it, anyway.

not sure what exactly you mean? The food eaten by mum can change the milk (slightly) (although I know Vally's "colic" stopped completely when I gave up cabbage and tomatoes) but I'm pretty sure exercise doesn't do anything to the milk (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, I can't say I exercised much while breastfeeding Vallerie, just the daily walk with to the shops...)
