    Default normal pains @ 33wks???

ok sorry ifthis gets TMI but im a tad unsure if what im feelin is the norm for how far along i am,. Wit my first pregnancy I didnt feel half the things Ive felt this time round so im a bit iffy!!
For the last 2- 3 days Ive been getting really crampy legs, pains going up and down, if i dont go sit down they feel as though they may collapse. Then if i keep on my feet it moves to my groin and pelvis and feel like i need to go to to the loo.. an when i do the pan is reallly bad like immense pressure in my cervix and im way to scaed to push to actually go to the loo !! It feels as though Im really open and about to loose the lot???
is this bub moving down or should i go get checked out? the only thing is doc is on holidays so id have to go see the midwives up the hospy.

As its your 2nd bub your bound to feel things much more than no1. It sounds like bub is down and putting pressure in the pelvic area, which your feeling more this time. I felt it really early with DD too.

If your at all concerned just give the middys a call.
They can reassure you or ask you up there if concerned, They can usually tell from your answers to a few questions if you need to get looked at.

    hope that helps

You tend to feel things more after having one bubs i think i had these pains for weeks with this bubs and i to hated the thought of pushing on the loo etc as it felt like i would pop bubs out sounds like things are just getting ready and bubs heads getting nice and snug!

You know yourself though if somethings not right and i am sure the middies will be happy to check you over and it doesnt hurt to find out to put your mind at ease either

ok thanks for the replies so far, I called the middies just to chat and she says I can go in but if id prefer just see how it goes, if it seems to be happening like eery hour or half hour maybe go in. She was more interested in te pains in my legs, so feet up for the rest of the day!!

has eased off a tad bit, but I think bubs has moved right down as I can breathe for the first time in weeks and My neighbour just commented that bub looks very low! Now that im sitting here I can notice my tummy is literally resting between my legs on the chair!!! Is it too early for her to drop down so far????

its my first bub so i probably ain't that good at advice but i noticed that my bub dropped at about 30 weeks, and has been like that since, i am now hitting the 37 week mark so i figure he may even come a little earlier then expected! hope this helps, my tip is just get some rest, i cant believe how tired i have been the past couple of weeks, but you are right it is a relief to breath after bub pushing on the chest part so much and sitting so high up!

It sounds like it yes, but 2nd and consecutive babies can quite often engage and disengage and engage again,Theres more room there this time round to do it, Its not too early and he/she could change again.
    hope that helps
