    Default Home Builders..yes you!

Did you have to mow your land before they started building. Obviously you have to keep it from looking like a snakes heaven for the 'council' but were you asked to mow it just before construction?

I have never heard of this before

They grass is normally killed when they start bringing the equipment in.

Well thats what I would of thought! Very odd, first they tell me I need to get the land surveyed in 7 days or they will slug me with $1000.00 bill and then they said by the way 'so and so' just looked at the land and wants you to mow it.

My dad was just there this morning and said it looked alright, it more crappy grass and weeds rather than tall grass if that makes any sense?

    Thanks for the reply.

We are building at the moment and yes, we were asked to mow the block before they did the cut.

We had to do this too, it's called an indentification survey and is usually because there is a peg missing on your block. We had no idea that we needed to do this until just before.

Thanks Noosa! Sometimes I think that if something is going to be quite obviously added on, they should let you know before hand.

I found someone to do it for half the price they were going to charge me.

My grass isn't overgrown, its just normal grass.
I will have to ask when they are going to start building because I don't want to mow it and have it grow back a little LOL.
