What is it? What can i use to help clear it up? Its not all over his head, just a patch and on one ear

Sounds like cradle cap. Just use a comb to gently scrape way the excess skin and then rub some oil into it. Any oil will do (baby oil, olive oil - anything.)

My bubs had that too, I just used some baby moisturiser everytime he had a feed, just wiped abit onto the infected/dry area.. you will see inprovements instantly

Thats the same for the head, but Heaths always comes back after a bath, so I dont think there is any way of getting rid of it, apart from letting it go away by itself

When you have a shower with bub, wash his head with alittle baby shampoo & lather it with a soft brissle baby brush. It will look worse before it gets better but it lifts the dry skin off the scalp. You can then moisturise with whatever you like. Maddy had dry skin on her head really bad until I started doing this now her skin is perfect.
