Default Lump under skin after immunisation

My DS had his 2 month immunisation shots a couple of weeks ago. He's developed a lump under the skin on his thigh, at the point where one of the needles went in. Does anyone know what this is, and whether I should be concerned?

It didn't happen to Sarah, but I've heard that this is normal. If you're still worried tomorrow, it might be worth popping into the chemist or giving your GP a quick call

DS son had the same thing, I was told not to worry about it. Its a reaction but not to hold concern. If it's still worrying you, pop down to your GP

That happened with DS after his 2 month needles .... it went away after the 4 month needles. Dr said it's normal and not to worry and then about 3 weeks later it disappeared.

DD used to get small red, raised mozzie bite marks ont he injection sites after her needles. They went away after a few days.

josh got them with his 4 month needles, but not with any of the other ones. Yep, apparently it's normal. I've had the same thing when I've had fluvax's, etc.

yes it is normal..BUT if it gets bigger than a 50c coin go back to your dr...

the person giving the needles should have informed you of this information...
