Smile Any Adelaide Mums? Ex Londoner calling

    Hi,

I am Sarah, (thirty something - I try to forget the exact number) and am mum Of Lizzie (7 months). I am keen to chat / meet any expat Mums living in Adelaide.. also very happy to chat to anyone living anywhere in Oz of course!!
I have been in Oz for a couple of years and have lived in Brissy, Darwin and Perth before settling in Adelaide.
I am really enjoying Oz and the wonderful lifestyle it offers (also enjoying the time off work which would not have been possible in England due to ridiculous house prices).. Miss the family massively and am just finding babysitters that I am comfortable with so have had a couple of nights out which is great!.Look forward to chatting .

    Sarah

    Hi Sarah

Manxie and I are both ex -Pats and are looking to getting a group of UK'ers together for mum meet ups so good to see you online.

My name is Lou, mum to a 21 mth old girl. I'm 30 + myself

I live in the Hills (Mount Barker) but happy to travel into Adelaide for meet ups.

    Where do you live?

I'm an ex Londoner myself (Grove Park) and been over here since Nov 06, so fairly new ex-pat but like you I am enjoying the new lifestyle.

Talking of babysitters, still haven't found a regular babysitter myself (been relying on work collegues from time to time) so any suggestions there would be great.

    Look forward to chatting again.

    Default Catching up!

    Hey there,

I would definately be keen to catch up!

I have made a couple of good friends here that also have young bubs and we have baby sat for each other a few times.I have found joining mother's groups a good way of getting some extra support..

Next week is a bit full on for me but the week after is good. I am generally free most afternoons except Monday and Thursdays.. I am in the Eastern suburbs near Norwood.

Look forward to chatting and catching up - Miss the London humour badly !

    Sarah

I work Wednesdays and Fridays, so Tuesday is good for me

As for the McVities...I have them in stock and can bring them but I'm not allowed to eat any till second week in Dec On a special diet from my Dr.....one week down and 5 to go....Ah well....anyways let us know if/when you want to meet up. Perhaps if the weathers nice we could all go to Glenelg or somewhere central like Rundall.
