    Default B'day Party Food

I am sooo unorganised lately, and DS has his b'day party tomorrow. The cake is organised but I am stuck for ideas of what else to have in the way of food at the party. I don't paticularly want really unhealthy food and I also have to keep in mind that some of the babies may have nut allergies etc.

    Any suggestions at all?

    Hi

I did a big fruit platter...Andrew absolutely loves fruit, so he enjoyed that

You could do little sandwiches or quiche type things - little people finger foods?

Suggested party food from Breast Bottle Bowl:

Rainbow or ribbon sandwiches: three layer sandwiches with mashed avocado, grated carrot and cream cheese. Cut crusts off and cut into ribbons. Little ones will probably pull them apart anyways

Mini meatballs. I've made this one and Chloe loves them.

    Pikelets with toppings.

I'd also suggest making a simple pasta salad that both grownups and kids can eat.

Andrew didn't eat much - he had a cupcake and some fruit and I think that was it!

I had grand ideas of making lots of things, but in the end, I figured it was the grown ups who'd do more of the eating, so didn't bother with much else.

The pikelets sounds like a yummy idea and easy for bubs to eat.

My party book has a nice idea:-

Little pizzas - buy ready made pizza base and cut out little rounds and top with various things such as: shredded chicken, grated cheese, chopped capsicum etc.
