How good are the BBH PUL covers at containing runny newborn poo?

I'm trying to work out which covers to buy and just wondering whether these would be ok, or whether I should go for covers with extra leg gussets.

Your newborn experiences would be appreciated!

    Thank you ladies.

Pretty good actually. The trick with Baby Beehinds and newborn poo is to tuck the leg frills of the nappy in, it contains most of the poo explosion that way. The PUL covers work really well for us.

the only time DS' nappy has leaked is when he was in a disposable The rest of the time he's been in BBBs and a pul cover and no problems at all. The really big explosions have gone onto the cover, but never outside the cover

I have to say if im not using a BBB with the BB PUL cover then its possible to leak because as Bron said with the BBB's you can tuck in the frills to stop leaks.

But if im using a terry flat or a different fitted then i prefer my Tots Bots PUL covers has they have leg gussets !

Excellent girls. thanks very much! That was exactly the info I needed. Guess I need both types of wraps as I'm using different nappies.
