Moved here to Canberra from Melb. and am lonely....

I'm mum to 2 littlies - a 1yo girl and a 2 1/2 yo boy. We've just moved here to Canberra from Melbourne and I'm keen to meet other mums who've relocated here also as I don't know anyone here. Please get in touch!

I know this probably won't help, but I did the move from melb to act and although I didn't have any children I didn't know any one... I found that I meet lots of people by just going to lake burley griffin, for just picnics and reading, everyone was so friendly. Where abouts in the act are you??

. We're in Monash Tuggeranong and I have been going to the Town Park near Tuggeranong Lake but find everyone comes in groups and keep with the mums in their group.

Hi,i am in Chisholm in tuggeranong we have meets up regularly.
i moved from brisbane last year and have meet some great people from bubhub.
i will let you know when we have another meet, or just pm me if you want to go down to tuggers shops and we can meet up for a coffee.

We relocated here from Brisbane about three months ago, so we're still trying to make friends and figure out where we fit in.

The girls on bubhub are great, do come along to the next meet if you can. Hopefully now that it's warming up a bit we can organise some outdoor morning tea/picnic meets.

It definately is lonely at first...I still feel lonely most days! I'm on the north side, but if you ever feel like meeting up PM me, I'm always keen to meet new people.

As it turns out my little girl Asha is only 4 days older than your little darling Isaac - isn't that nice for them??

I will definitely come along to any get togethers in future. Where do I find out about them? (I'm a rookie and just learning how this Bub Hub thing works!)

Get togethers are normally just posted in this ACT thread, so check it from time to time to see what's happening.

Kim's organising one for next week at the moment, so would be great if you could come along! My son should probably meet his future bride-to-be before we marry them off
