Just thought I'd introduce myself, My name is Veronica and I joined HubBub yesterday. I'm from Palmerston and I have 3 children 5 yrs and under and number 4 due Feb. Looking forward to chatting and to getting to know you all.

Nice to meet you, i'm Carly and have two children Madison 2 and Kaylee 9 months. We live at the RAAF Base in Winnellie. How long have you been in Palmerston for? do you like it there?
We are hoping to buy a house in Palmerston in the next year or so.

I'm Veronica and I'm in Bakewell and have been here for about 18 mths now. I love it here. We moved here for a fresh start and just love it.
My children are Caleb 5 yrs, Claire-Rose 3 yrs and Chloe 15 mths with Charlie on the way.

My name is Kylie and we have been in darwin almost 2 years due to DH in defence. We have an 18 month old DD Bethany.
Where did u move from?
It is getting hot! I hate wet season!

Kylie - We come up from QLD for a fresh start. I love the weather and really don't mind the wet or the dry but I must admit it's been hard lately without a car. Walking the kids to school and childcare can get hot especially being 5 mths preggers. I don't know what we're going to do once the rains set in. I'm just hoping we get a car by then.

We came from Qld too brissy i miss it so much.
Not a fan of here but i guess that is defence for ya.
What made u decide to move here? Do u have family or friends here?
Gee i couldnt live without my car it would be very hot walking kids and preg!
Do u live far from school?
I am bad for staying indoors with air con on.

We came from Ipswich and just wanted the fresh start, better work opportunities for hubby as well. I have an aunt who lives up here and recently my sister and her boys have moved up here as well. We had never even been here and just packed the car up and drove here. I was pregnant with number 3 at the time. We haven't regretted it. We've had friends from back QLD come up this way with defence postings but have moved back as their youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia and they needed to go back to Brissy for the hospital. And many other friends have come and gone as well.
The school is just down the road which is good and childcare centre is next door to the school. It does get hot being preg, i've really felt it this time.
