evening all! I've been a bubhub member for a few months, but there was sooo much to the forum i never really got the hang of it until today (when i was procrastinating - should be doing a uni assignment.... should be doing it now actually as DH has taken DD out so i have some peace to do it in!!!)

I too live in Newcastle & would love to meet up sometime with you all (if you're happy for newbies to come along)... I have a daughter who is coming up to 12months (was born on 2/05). Uni is full on & i work parttime also, but find i need to get out of the house on days that i'm home (it's not like i'm ever here much though...).

Steph we are looking at some today and our house goes on the Market this week, so it could all happen fast or not if no one likes mine

    Where are you?

I love our location here but too quiet. I am from the UK and it has taken us a while to work out what is for us, came in 2004.

    hi

Ashtonfield Shamrocks meet every thursday (Except school holidays) at 10am to 12pm and 12pm to 2pm.

We have two groups and are inviting anybody who is interested in playgroup to come along to one or both!

We meet at Ashtonfield Community Centre, Galway Bay drive. Its a huge indoor room with a fenced outdoor area and we have LOTS of suitable toys. We also have a closed kitchenette with tea/coffee/hot choc supplied and take it in turns to bring morning tea to share.

We are part of playgroup nsw http://www.playgroupaustralia.com.au/nsw/

Most of the children are around 2 and 3 but we have babies and older kiddies.

We are a welcome bunch, not cliquey and would love to have some new members!

Visitors can come up to three times for free then they are asked to kindly join playgroup (I think its about $40 a year) and then pay $3 per family each visit so we can pay our rent.

If you have any queries please PM me or reply here. I'm there most day at the 10am group but there is always a friendly face to greet you should you wish to just 'rock up'.

    Looking forward to seeing you!
    Liz

Hi. not sure whether any of you still check this thread....

I live in Raymond Terrace (Riverview Ridge area) and just wondering whether there are any of you close by that know of any good mothers/play groups around here? I am struggling to find a decent one. I dont have many friends that have kids the same ages as mine...
