Default Does Ovulation happen the same time each month?

Does Ovualation happen at the same time each month or does it vary from month to month?
I was just wondering if I O'd on CD19 last month, will it be the same this month or does it just happen whenever?

Well for me, I've found that ovulation is pretty much on the dot (give or take a day or so). I guess it depends how regular your AF is - a regular cycle means a regular luteal phase... usually. Usually you count 14 days back from the first day of AF (not 14 after the first day, which most people think) to calulate a rough O date. Have you been charting? I found this gave me a good idea of when it was happening, and after a while I learnt by my cm etc alone.

    Hi

Apparently you always ovulate 'around' the same time, and the day only varies one day either side..so if you ovulate on day 14 usually..it could be CD13, 14, or 15. Have you read The Billings Method? I found it really helpful

If your cycles are regular, then yes. If not, and you have a normal luteal phase, you will always o about 13-14 days before your next AF.
