    Default Sorry...

    Poo talk.

I have been putting this off in order not to gross people out, but I just have to know. The dude does nuggets. Nothing runny, nothing very soft, just little, self-contained nuggets. I hardly have to even wipe his bum .

He is BF and started on solids a month ago. He has around 7 BF a day and 3 meals. Is this normal? He has a little grunt to get them out, but nothing really major... For what goes in though, not a lot seems to be coming out .

Is this okay? What are they supposed to be like?

Cj's used to be like that all the time too, until I started giving him lots of fruit. Now it's soft again!!

If he's generally well and has enough wet nappies per day, I wouldn't worry too much (easier said than done I know!!). As I understand the human poo-ing system, it's waste products, so if there's more going in than coming out I'd say that just means he's eating such healthy and nutritious foods that there's barely any wastage! (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong - I only get my information from Jillian off of "You Are What You Eat"..... )

Pear juice is supposed to help with constipation. (When Vallerie was a bubs we were told to give her brown sugar and water, but I see now how bad that can be for bubs - Pear juice is a much better alternative) Or puree'd prunes but who'd wanna eat that...

I think most of his foods are good, he does only have fruit once a day though, meat and vege for the others. I will try the stewed prunes and see what happens... or doesn't .

you can get prune juice! that worked for us when the nuggets arrived, as did mango, and banana/avocado/yoghurt....that combo will definitely get things happening
