Paediatric dermatologist in brisbane

hi i am looking for a Paediatric dermatologist for my dd am wondering if anyone knows someone good. am happy to travel so basically anywhere in brisbane. thanks

A couple of my friends have taken their children to Dr Michael Sharkey. I think he is at paddington. I'm not sure if he is specifically Paediatric, but I know they were both happy with him.

I know of a couple of dermatologists, not sure if the paediatric ones though. But if you phone their rooms they will be able to let you know, or can refer you to who is good?

May I ask what it is in relation to? My DD has severe eczema and we were given the option of a derm or an allergist. We chose the latter and I'm really glad we did. I rang the paed derm's rooms out of curiosity and found they had closed their books - not taking on any new patients for at least a year. It was a female derm I think in Indooroopilly - Melissa someone? Sorry I can't be more help. If you think it is worth seeing an allergist instead, Pete Smith on the Gold Coast is excellent, but has a year long waiting list.
