My best friend has just got engaged and plans are on the way for a wedding in hawaii. We are high school friends and she was my maid of honour at our wedding 5 yrs ago.

have several problems being that it is going to be in hawaii.
I hate flying even to qld
I have 3 children that as of june next year will be the above ages.
I don't have passports and it will cost a fortune I am sure.
I really want to go (for friend only) but the above are becoming a sort of problem for me.

Tell me experiences and if you think we are crazy even contemplating it. There is no way anyone will be looking after my children
