Default any support for mothers with anxiety out there?

just wondering if theres any support programs or any type of mother toddler type of thing with mothers who suffer from anxiety so you can meet up with other mums who have similiar issues.. its always good to have that support from other people who know what your going through.. though i havent heard of anything like this.... anybody know anything?

    Hello
I have suffered anxiety over the last 3yrs (take Zoloft).. Im in Hobart now.. but haven't heard of anything with mums & bubs.. i have a 21month old Boy..
Think it would be a great idea though!
I did counselling in perth for 3months that helped alot, think i will look into it again.

    Hi-

I suffered anxiety after the birth of my twins (probably did before as well, just didn't really realize it.) It was 'managed' with aropax- but I was happy to get off it in the end.

I am preg now (just about due) and have had quite a lot of anxiety in this preg- the things that have worked for me is using rescue remedy and also listening to relaxation cd's- still get worked up etc but I find I'm much more centred.

It is such a hard slog hey.

I'm not sure if there's any support groups around- I know I was lumped with a diagnosis of PND because there's not really a label for those of us who suffer anxiety- however maybe a PND support group would be useful..
