    Default Help broken dishwasher!

I put a load on this morning and it's one of those drawer ones with two drawers. The top one is budging to open but nothings stuck and once it's opened theres about a centimetre of water at the bottom and the power isn't working. The bottom one is working fine so I assume they're on the same power? Help! Anyone have any ideas or will I have to call someone to come and fix it?

Hi just wanted to say good luck with it

We have one and have had nothing but trouble with it and to get them out to see it is expensive 110 i think it was plus parts.

Have you tried turning the power of waiting for a while and then turning it back on it may whir and carry on but it then should suck the water in. If the light on the front is blinking red thats what ours did the said it was a F1 fault and from water over load and then you need to get someone out.

We were also told that we should only use finish powder with out added rinse aid and if you dont you are not covered by warranty.

Sorry for on but ours drives me mad

    Good Luck

Yep it's the fisher pykal one! Only ever used finish power as well so hopefully it will be covered by warrantee.

Very frustrating and the buttons won't even light up at all the power button won't work. I guess I'll have to call someone out

    Thanks for your help!

We have them at work, and they break down constantly.

And BTW, my understanding is that it would be illegal to force you to use Finish. That would be classified as "Third Line Forcing" and is prohibited under the Trade Practices Act. You might want to look into that if that was what you were told.

    Sorry for crashing your thread

Cool will have to look into it as the srvice guy said to me that you have to use finish as it has no added rinse aid in it. We found that morning fresh we liked better but were told not to use it as it has added rinse aid
