Has anybody been watching this show? Its very interesting but also very disturbing. The crimes that are shown are just awful.

My DH has been watching it each week. I watched for the first time last night and I totally agree it is interesting but at the same time very disturbing indeed.

I used to watch it earlier in the year when it was on CI channel on Foxtel.

Some of them are really horrible - the one on the backpacker murders (Ivan Milat) comes to mind....freaky and very disturbing .

yes i find them very disturbing but also kinda " must watch TV" i guess i kinda like those true crime shows.. freaky.. even if i do freak out about every noise afterwards.

true crime shows and also true crime books are a fav in my house ( for me that is), dp can watch them as long as it doesn't involve children (those types really get to him) and my children are very fast asleep.

i still remember staying up and watching australia's most wanted from the dark hallway until mum would realise what we were up to. or staying awake to listen to it. scare the **** outta me but i still tryed to watch lol. it also gave me some warped idea of what some crimes actually ment. maybe i shoulda asked mum or something but i didn't find out the truth until dp told me at 14.

Yeah they are great productions.................very well made and it's so interesting to see how the Police finally catch them.

But they are certainly disturbing................I agree the Ivan Milat one was really horrible to watch as was the Snowtown murderers one. The re-enactments are scary to watch because they really happened

The one with John Sharp was really hard for me to watch. My Dad is a prison guard and this monster is in his prison, actually in his unit. I just can't understand how these people can do these things to another human. Its truly terrible.

i watch it but it gives me the creeps. I live by myself and i always go to bed scared! The 1st one was the worse! The re-enactment was so realistic it freaked me right out. I feel for the parents so bad. It would be devastating

I've been watching them too. True crime is my thing.

Though the reenactments are grisly, I noticed they leave out some of the more gruesome details in particular cases. Probably for the best really.

I watch it too when I remember it is on

I love watching these types of shows being true crime or made up stuff like law & Order

DH refuses to watch because these horrible things really happened. We are opposites that way. I hate horror/slasher/anything scary in a movie but will watch true crime as i find it interesting but he cannot watch it if it really happened as that is a different scary to him sitting down watching horror films (which he loves)
