    Default Help - i accidentally over-concentrated my baby's formula

I put in an extra scoop of formula by accident and didn't realise until it was too late (he had drank the bottle). Has anyone else ever done this....what affect did it have on their babies? Bub is a bit unsettled at the moment....I am wondering if he could have a belly pain from my stupidity? Please help! Any advice appreciated!!

I have done that before Not so good in the early hrs of the morning LOL.

Anyway - I just kept an eye on him and he seemed to be fine. If he seems like he has a sore tummy some water should do the trick.

Worst comes to worst ring the helpline on the formula tin. They should be able to help you out.

Provided your bubby does get a bit of extra fluid, one scoop too many on it's own won't really do anything.

If you are constantly making it up stronger than the directions say, then it will become a problem.

Thanks everyone - I really, really appreciate your responses. I was so scared earlier, so having your feedback made a world of difference...thank you so much. Bub did settle down and is still asleep now, so all seems to be ok for the time-being, fingers crossed! If he wakes later on I'll know its most likely a bit of a belly pain. Thanks again.
