Weaning BF to Formula.. What did u use

Hey Ladies..

Formula confuses me lol... i am weaning baby in a few months to formula, now i have no idea where to start, which is the best etc..

I have been using S23 in his farex in the morning to get him use to the taste but i have been reaading that it constipates so i am so confused..

Also how did you get baby use to a bottle.. Hunter will NOT take one even if its breast milk how do i coach him to take it?

Hi there,

My little one had been on S26 since he was born and I have never had a problem with constipation, my problem with it was chronic vomiting so I have since changed to Karicare. If you have already been putting it in the farex and havn't had problems I dont think you should have an issue. Try an extra 10mls of water in the bottle if it happens. As for the bottle thing, have you tried using different teats? Sometimes the little monkeys can be fussy. And offer the bottle at the beginning of the feed when he is most hungry.

I used S26 but it made him constipated and we also found out he had lactose intolerance and cows milk allergy so we switched to Infasoy!

I used NAN formula and Avent bottles !!!
